Body Stem erect, sometimes swollen at the nodes
Height Up to 50 cm tall
Leaves Narrowly elliptic or lanceolate, sometimes blunt teeth at the margin.
Flowers Solitary, 2-4 together, green or purplish. Peduncle 0.3-1.8 cm long. Reeceptacle almost funnel shaped and concave, occasionally slightly convex. Floweeriing face narrowly elliptic, fringe up to 1 mm broad. Primary appendagees teerminal, 2, 0.7-4.5 cm long. Secondary appendages lacking.

Area In Cameroun and Gabon;
Usually in riverine or littoral forest, in moist places;
At low altitudes.
